DFW Airport TX, April 16, 2015.- Mexican airline VivaAerobus has started service out of Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport’s International Terminal D, VivaAerobus officially launched service with the first of three weekly flights to Monterrey and Guadalajara, Mexico on March 28, 2015.

"With its gaining popularity and increased market share, VivaAerobus is a strategic partner for us and also a great value to Dallas/Fort Worth customers."
The estimated 90-minute VivaAerobus flights from Dallas to Monterrey will utilize an Airbus A320, which seats 180 passengers and flights from Dallas to Guadalajara will utilize a Boeing 737 which seats 148 passengers.
"We are thrilled to launch these two new routes, which represent a significant milestone in the development of our network across the United States, and to bring our low-cost travel option, with fares starting at $80 USD, to Dallas passengers," said Robert Zoller, VivaAerobus COO. Since 2011, DFW has added 25 new international routes, 18 of those to new international destinations. VivaAerobus is now the eighth international carrier to start service at DFW since then, extending the airport’s recent run of international expansion.
VivaAerobus currently serves 21 destinations in Mexico with hubs in Monterrey and Cancun. The airline flies to three U.S. destinations, in addition to DFW Airport. VivaAerobus is co-owned by IAMSA, Mexico’s largest bus company conglomerate, and the founders of Ryanair, Europe's biggest low-cost carrier.
