Mexico City; June 6, 2017.- Viva Aerobus, Mexico's low-cost airline, keeps its commitment to Mexico and its travelers with the opening of two new national routes. Its passengers can now buy tickets to travel the Mexicali-Guadalajara route, which will have 4 weekly frequencies: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with rates from $ 798 pesos; and the Mexicali-Monterrey route, with 3 weekly frequencies: Monday, Thursday and Saturday, with rates from $ 948 pesos. The Mexicali-Guadalajara route will start operations on August 21 and Mexicali-Monterrey on August 22.
In this way, Viva Aerobus already adds the opening of 10 new national routes during this year, reaching a total of 75 routes to 33 different destinations. With these new routes, it reinforces its leadership in Monterrey, being the airline that offers the greater number of destinations from that city with a total of 24 routes without scales. In addition, it is consolidated as the only airline that offers the Mexicali-Monterrey route, being the fourth new route this year from Monterrey.
"With each of our new routes, we expand a network that connects Mexico and its people. And thanks to our prices, the lowest in the market, we make flying, in the most modern fleet in Mexico, a reality for all people. Besides, we have as added value our renewed customer focus and our commitment to a great travel experience", said Gian Carlo Nucci, CEO of Grupo Viva Aerobus.
"Considering both routes, we expect to transport more than 90,000 passengers per year. Thus, we will continue on the path that has positioned us as the fastest growing airline in recent months. In fact, last April we reported the largest increase in the number of passengers transported with a raise of 57%. So far this year, more than two million passengers have flown with us", said Juan Carlos Zuazua, general director of Viva Aerobus.
Passengers can purchase their tickets on Viva's official website: https://www.vivaaerobus.com/en, in VivaTiendas, calling the Call Center 0181 82 150 150 or at any bus station of Grupo IAMSA such as son Omnibus de México, ETN, TAP, Grupo Herradura Occidente (GHO), Primera Plus, Aers and TMT Caminante.
