Viva Aerobus will arrive for the first time to Los Angeles

Mexico City; June 20, 2017.- Viva Aerobus, Mexico's ultra low-cost airline, launches its new international route Guadalajara-Los Angeles. It is the first time that Viva Aerobus flies to this destination with nonstop flights and a daily frequency. Tickets for this new route, which starts operations on December 16, are now on sale at prices from 1,547 pesos (USD $85).

With this new route, Viva Aerobus adds the launch of 11 new routes in 2017.This increase in its flight offer is the result of its commitment to Mexico in boosting tourism with a real ultra low-cost option. In this way, the airline offers a total of 76 routes and 34 different destinations.

Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates that, due to this new route, approximately 18,000 tourists from Guadalajara will visit Los Angeles during the first year of operation. Additionally, they consider that tourists will contribute with an estimated direct spend of US $18 million in this US region.

With this new route, more and more people will be able to fly to this city thanks to our prices and to our offer that strengthens the international connectivity of our country, thus favoring the arrival of foreign tourists”, said Juan Carlos Zuazua, general director of Viva Aerobus.

Viva Aerobus will offer to its customers more than 130,000 seats during the first 12 months of operation of this new route. Its passengers will travel aboard one of the world's newest fleets, integrated by Airbus A320 aircraft, with advanced technology, offering the highest standards of safety, comfort and quality.
