Viva Aerobus increases international route offer in June & July

Mexico City, June 24, 2020 – Viva Aerobus, Mexico's ultra-low-cost carrier, increases its offer of international routes to Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York (JFK) and San Antonio for June and July according to current demand and Mexico's connectivity needs.

In the first week of July, Viva Aerobus will resume the routes Mexico City - New York [JFK] (Thursdays and Sundays), Guadalajara - Houston (Mondays and Fridays) and Guadalajara - Chicago, the latter will start with two flights per week and then three weekly frequencies from July 9 on (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Moreover, the airline will start its new Monterrey - San Antonio route on July 3rd with two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays).

Viva will also expand flight frequencies, by the end of June, for the Monterrey - Houston and Guadalajara - Los Angeles routes, which restart had already been announced for the current month. In the case of the first route there will be 4 flights per week and for the second route one daily flight.

All flights are operated under disciplined prevention, hygiene and safety protocols with unrestricted adherence to the recommendations and sanitary measures issued by the competent national and international authorities. As a result, the airline has established exhaustive and additional disinfection processes in aircraft and common areas, safe distance guidelines, mandatory use of protective equipment for personnel, among other actions. Viva Aerobus requests its passengers to be aware of their flight itineraries, subject to demand, which continues to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the event of any change in flights, passengers will be protected in accordance to current legislation and the airline policies.
