Today March 18 2021 at 1:40 p.m., our aircraft XA-VAZ - flight VIV4343 from Puerto Vallarta to Monterrey, was involved in an incident when aligning to the runway prior to takeoff, the nose landing gear collapsed.
All 127 passengers and crew onboard are safe.
All safety protocols were activated immediately, in coordination with aeronautical authorities and the airport administration, guaranteeing the safety of all passengers and crew members at all times.
Viva Aerobus is finding alternatives to protect our passengers on flight VIV4343, so they can travel to their destination as soon as possible.
The aircraft is under review by our engineering teams with the support of the OEMs and the aeronautical authorities.
